In addition to outpatient offices in each county served, Communicare operates a group home for women who have serious mental illness and a residential substance abuse treatment center, and provides school based services in several public educational systems.
From the website: Doors of Hope Transition Ministries helps homeless families become self-sufficient in society by helping them overcome problems that are interfering with self-sufficiency. We provide shelter for 4 to 6 months along with financial planning, educational guidance and assistance in employment, life skills, medical and dental care, and permanent housing.
