Crossover Xpand – Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources
Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources offers a wide range of services to youth and families. The Mississippi Department of Mental Health awarded PBMHR’s Child and Adolescent Services a 4 year initiative, Crossover Xpand. The program is designed to help families and youth who are identified as “Crossover Youth” that are involved with Child Protective Services and/ or the Juvenile Justice system or are at risk of becoming involved with these service systems.
The program is designed to provide care that is individualized, strengths based and integrated within multiple service systems, offering families and youth voice, choice and ownership in all aspects of their care. Goals of the program include increasing the ability for youth to remain in their homes, schools & community settings while increasing community commitment to supporting the growth of all families and youth.
