In Mississippi, Mobile Crisis Response Teams and Crisis Stabilization Units are both available to provide crisis assistance to people and families experiencing a mental health crisis. Mobile Crisis Response Teams are available in all 14 of the state's regional Community Mental Health Centers. Bureau of Emergency Medical Services

The EMS Bureau investigates all complaints made against emergency services and/or providers such as EMTs. All valid complaints are dealt with according to their regulations. Suspensions and/or revocations can occur for violations. The bureau’s actions are reported to NREMT as well as entered into the national provider database.

Trans Lifeline is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the well being of transgender people. They run a hotline staffed by transgender people for transgender people. Available 18 hours a day from 10am to 4am Central Time. Call (877) 565-8860.
